Terms of Service
These Terms are a binding agreement between you and Husena LLC for your use of Jotmor™. They include the complete Terms 2.0.0 identified below and the public-access and processing-limit changes in this version.
1. Operator, agreement, and incorporated terms
Jotmor is operated by Husena LLC, 5900 Balcones Drive, Suite 100, Austin, Texas 78731, United States (“Husena,” “Jotmor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. If you do not agree, do not create an account, buy a subscription, or use the Service.
The complete Jotmor Terms of Service 2.0.0 are incorporated into and remain part of these Terms 2.1.0. They cover accounts and MFA; beta operation and service changes; User Content ownership and the limited license needed to store, secure, scan, convert, OCR, transcribe, summarize, embed, index, search, rank, back up, and display content; AI limitations; acceptable use and regulated-workload exclusions; security, backups, exports, suspension, termination, intellectual property, third-party services, force majeure, indemnity, disclaimers, liability limits, Texas law, venue, dispute notice, jury and class-action waivers, survival, and general contract terms.
If this document conflicts with Terms 2.0.0, this document controls. Our Privacy Policy 1.1.0 explains how Husena handles personal information. Privacy acknowledgment is not blanket consent to any unrelated data use.
2. Public accounts and email verification
Subject to operational, legal, security, fraud, and capacity controls, adults may create an individual Jotmor account. Signup is not complete until the email address is verified. You must provide accurate account information and protect passwords, recovery methods, devices, and authenticator codes. Accounts are personal and may not be sold, transferred, shared as a service, or used to evade plan limits.
We may temporarily disable signup, checkout, uploads, AI processing, or other features to protect users or the Service. Availability of a signup or checkout page is not a promise that an account or transaction will be accepted.
3. Plans, storage, searches, and file limits
The current plan catalog is published at /pricing. At launch, Free includes 2 GB, Plus 50 GB, Pro 400 GB, and Studio 1 TB of storage, measured in decimal bytes. Images and documents are limited to 50 MB each. Audio and video are limited to 250 MB each on Free and Plus and 2 GB each on Pro and Studio. We may reject unsupported, mislabeled, dangerous, corrupted, or technically unreasonable files.
Free includes 1,500 full semantic searches per calendar month. Paid plans include 15,000. After that allowance, search remains available through deterministic lexical matching until the next monthly reset. Search quality and ordering are not guaranteed.
A downgrade does not automatically delete existing content. If stored originals exceed the new limit, new uploads are blocked until usage is reduced or the account is upgraded. Viewing, playback, search, export, deletion, and account closure remain available subject to security and technical availability. Jotmor does not charge storage or AI overages.
4. Monthly AI-processing units
AI-processing allowances reset at 00:00 UTC on the first day of each calendar month and do not roll over. Free includes 25 units, Plus 200, Pro 700, and Studio 1,800. Text and Markdown use no processing units. One image uses 1 unit. Each PDF page or started audio minute uses 2 units. Each started video minute uses 10 units. We determine duration, page count, media type, and other measurements on the server; browser estimates do not control billing or allowance use.
A unit represents access to automated analysis, not a guaranteed quantity of model tokens, computer time, output, accuracy, or successful results. Processing may include malware screening, safe playback conversion, OCR, transcription, description, summarization, embedding, indexing, and reranking. Local safety and playback work may occur independently of AI analysis.
Failed AI work releases a reservation when our system determines that no chargeable analysis completed. Successfully completed or materially consumed provider work may consume the reserved units even if another optional processing step fails. Retries are idempotent where practical, but results and completion times are not guaranteed.
5. Paid subscriptions and merchant of record
Polar is the merchant of record for paid subscriptions and may use Stripe or other processors. Polar handles payment collection, applicable taxes, invoices, receipts, refunds, and chargebacks. Husena does not receive complete card numbers. Prices, billing interval, renewal terms, taxes, and any discount are shown before you authorize payment.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the selected interval until canceled. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period. Plan changes may be prorated or scheduled as Polar discloses before confirmation. Except where mandatory law or checkout expressly provides otherwise, payments are non-refundable. A redirect or checkout success page does not grant paid access; only verified provider records do. Past-due access may continue while Polar retries payment, but unpaid, revoked, paused, or ended subscriptions return to Free limits.
6. AI limitations and customer responsibility
OCR, transcripts, descriptions, summaries, embeddings, automatic connections, and rankings may be incomplete, inaccurate, biased, offensive, delayed, or unavailable. They are retrieval and organization aids, not statements of fact or professional advice. Independently review results before relying on them.
Jotmor is not offered as a HIPAA, GLBA, FERPA, PCI DSS, credential-vault, biometric-identification, legal-record, government-classified, safety-critical, or other regulated compliance system. Do not use it as the system of record for regulated workloads or where failure could cause death, injury, deprivation of rights, or significant financial loss.
7. Disclaimers and liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HUSENA AND ITS AFFILIATES, MEMBERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, LICENSORS, AND PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOST BUSINESS, LOST GOODWILL, LOST DATA, OR SUBSTITUTE SERVICES. THEIR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF US$100 OR THE FEES YOU PAID FOR JOTMOR IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
These exclusions and limits do not apply where prohibited and do not limit non-waivable consumer rights or liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
8. Material change and contact
This is a material payment and service-limit update. Existing accepted users receive 30 days’ notice and retain normal access until the stated deadline. New signup and paid checkout require immediate acceptance. If an existing user declines or misses the deadline, normal use stops and the existing 30-day exit, export, acceptance, and deletion process applies.
